Definition
AI Readiness is a holistic assessment of a website's fitness for the AI-driven search landscape. It combines technical factors (crawlability, structured data, robots.txt configuration, llms.txt presence, server-side rendering) with content factors (E-E-A-T signals, AEO formatting, GEO signals, entity clarity) into an overall readiness score.
A fully AI-ready website is one where: AI crawlers can access all content; structured data accurately describes the content type and entities; content is formatted to support direct answers; and brand authority signals are clear and consistent. Auditly measures AI Readiness across six scoring categories to produce a weighted composite score out of 100.
Why It Matters
AI Readiness predicts how often your website will be cited, quoted, or recommended by AI search engines. As AI becomes the default interface for web discovery, AI Readiness becomes as strategically important as traditional search ranking.
